PAYMENT:

Q  What is the Annual Family Membership/Registration?

The $30 Annual Family Membership/Registration provides members with the ability to enroll in all available classes, receive discounts on birthday parties and have priority registration. The membership fee covers your entire family and is renewed annually on the anniversary date of your initial registration.

Q  How long am I enrolled for when we join a class?

A  HeartSong enrolls for classes on a semester(session) basis. Please look carefully at the class you are registering for...some classes run for a 16-week sememster, some for 8-weeks or for a month at a time. A few classes are offered as a one-time class.

Q  What if the semester has already started? Can we join?

Yes, you can join our classes at anytime!  As long as there is still space in the class (CLASS SPACE IS LIMITED) your child can join in and we prorate for classes missed to date.

Q  How is payment made?

A  You can register on line or mail in a registration form and pay by credit card or check. If you desire to pay cash, you must personally hand your fee to an instructor and receive a signed receipt. At the time of registration the annual family  membership fee and any applicable class material fees are due as a deposit. The balance is due on or before the first day of class. If this creates an undue hardship for your family, please call our  Director, Karin Frosio to work out an alternate arrangement.

MAKE -UP CLASSES:

Q  What if my child is sick or we are out of town and miss a class?

We follow the Duval County HRS guidelines used by preschools. If your child is sick (i.e. had a fever within the past 24 hours, colored nasal discharge, excessive coughing or not well enough to participate fully), we ask that you DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD TO CLASS.

When you miss a class due to sickness or vacation or appt. conflicts, we do offer the opportunity for a make-up class. However, we cannot guarantee an available space in the class of your choice, since the class may be full. It is your responsibility to schedule and attend your make-up class within the same session. You may chose to attend the same curricula class on a another day/time or try another class (excluding art classes) for the same age child.

You MUST CALL IN ADVANCE (the day before) to schedule your make-up and leave the name and age of the child and the class name, day  and time you'd like to attend with your contact # in case we need to reach you. We will only call you back if it will not work for your child to attend the requested make-up class.

Q  What happens if I can't fit in the make-up class?

HeartSong will make every attend to accomodate your needs; however, we do not give refunds or credits for classes missed that you are unable to make-up during the session.

MISC:

Q  What do we need to bring to class?

There is really nothing to bring. Just be sure you and your child dress comfortably. We MOVE a lot!

PLEASE BE SURE that your child leaves all pacifiers, snacks, stuffed animals etc. in the car or bag. Otherwise, this can create a problem for other children in the class and it limits your child's participation level as well.
